Hi everyone,

My name is Anne Claessens. I'm a fashion and beauty lover. I'm not really sportive, you can say I am pretty lazy and above all very very clumsy. Since I have those two wonderful traits, a teenage hobby was missing. I could call shopping my hobby but that's not really a 'thing'. When someone asks me, what do you do in with free time? I couldn't just say: 'Well, I like to go shopping, and I like to watch series..' So here's the new me with a new answer to the question. From now on I can say: 'I am a blogger'. God knows how long that's going to take because basically, I don't really have a lot of discipline. So this blog is, besides a fun way to share my hobby and interests with the rest of the world, a new way of training myself.

I am only 19 years old which means I haven't found everything I am looking for yet. With this blog you can follow me in my journey of becoming myself. You will be able to see me developping my style, maybe some techniques for I don't know what, and above all developping myself. This will be very interesting for me but also for you guys!

Let's give you all a little explanation on the blog's name. I am a lover of simplicity. As some people say, simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. But I also want to be a bit different than 'just simple'. I might have a simple style, or I might love simplicity but that doesn't mean I am less complex than either one of you. Therefore, I chose the name: Black and Offwhite. Black and white is simple but overdone. Offwhite is just a bit different, with respect to the beautiful simplicity that black and white carries out.  This blog is all about fashion, beauty and lifestyle, of course all from my point of view.
